Cabinet Refinishing
Clean & Degrease
Doors and drawers are removed and taken back to our shop to be cleaned and degreased. This important step ensures proper adhesion of the primer.
Sanding
Prior to spraying the primer, all surfaces are scuff sanded, vacuumed, and a tac cloth is applied to remove any dust to prepare for a perfect spraying surface.
Masking
On-site, the entire kitchen is masked off. Cabinet openings, countertops, floors and all appliances are covered with plastic film. A dust containment wall is erected and an air scrubber is used for ventilation
Spraying
All surfaces are sprayed and receive 2 coats of High Solid surface filler primer and 2 coats of 2k Pigmented Lacquer topcoat. This is a professional coating made specifically for refinishing and leaves a smooth, durable factory finish. Finally, 2 coats of Production Lacquer clear coat is applied.
Reinstall Doors
On the final day, all doors and drawers are reinstalled. Installation of new hinges and handles is also an option.
